Easter Sunday falls on 5th April this year and the Easter holiday can often be the first chance many of us get to have a break. Spring is upon us and with it comes increasing temperatures in UK and Europe, so whether you are looking for a weekend break or long haul adventure, you have come to the right place. The magnificent land of Turkish delights is a great option for those travelling with children, or simply looking for a romantic break in the sun. During April, the weather is still mild, with temperatures around the country varying with an average high of 16°C. Although it’s not warm enough for the beach, all-inclusive areas such as Belek, Antalaya and Bodrum, offer fantastic off-peak season deals. Turkey is a country rich in history with so much to see and do. From Canakkale it’s a short boat trip south to the remains of the city of Troy. Alternatively, explore the bazaars of Istanbul, visit a traditional Hamam bath or the outstanding Sultan Ahmed Mosque.

Morocco is a country filled with ancient treasures and cultural delights you are unlikely to find anywhere else on earth. We advise taking time to see the splendours of Marrakech including the Jemaa El Fna market, Koutoubia Mosque and the beautiful Jardin Majorelle. You can trek the remarkable Jebel Shams mountain, take a 4×4 desert safari through Wadi Bani Khalid or lounge on the miles of pristine coastline. Canary Islands

This tropical group of islands enjoys a wonderful climate with a constant mild temperature throughout April ranging from 20°C to 23°C and is host to splendid beaches of fine sand. Surprisingly, the landscape of each of the major islands is radically different from the others. Other than the abundance of beachfront resorts, the islands are home to looming volcanoes, prehistoric sites, lush pine forests, and miles of pristine Sahara-style sand dunes. The ancient town of Paphos has lots to see from the long lost Tomb of Kings to Kato Paphos Archaeological Park.

Ski enthusiasts will no doubt be hitting the slopes this Easter and where better to enjoy than the valley town ski resort of Les Arcs, France. Historical weather records of the region suggest the area receives a large dose of snowfall during the Easter period, making it a good choice for those looking for the best conditions. For those looking for something a little closer to home, there is lots to explore on our very doorstep. UK breaks are becoming increasingly popular and Easter is a stunning time of year to see this beautiful country. The weather is warming up and average highs range between 11°C-13°C. The southern most counties of Cornwall and Devon are where you’ll find the best weather. These beautiful seaside areas are perfect for visiting with the whole family with cosy little cottages, watersports and pub lunches all readily available. This region is one of the most picturesque the country has to offer and are famous for long coastline walks forging lasting childhood memories.
